Hi all!

The tickets for I Annotate are still available (until tomorrow, May 1st):
http://iannotate.org/ It's a great event for those interested in the wider
world of annotation and also interested in meeting folks working with the Web
Annotation specifications.

The hack day on Friday does have it's own registration page (tickets are free,
btw): https://ti.to/hypothesis/ianno18hackday

That hack day will include at least a few of us, and Randall and I are likely
to be focused on Apache Annotator work if/as possible--so please join us if you
can!

Also (fwiw), I'll be staying in the area until Sunday, and plan to setup
another hack-day event in SF for anyone with a keen interest and focus on
Apache Annotator. I'm checking with Hypothes.is (and probably Mozilla) on
available venue options. I'll post an RSVP for a Saturday thing once I get it
more official-ized. ;)

The goal for any of these events (if you can make them!) is to meet other devs
interested in Apache Annotator and help move the code, content, and demos
toward production.

If you can't make it, no worries! We'll work to surface any progress to the
list and/or GitHub as appropriate.

Thanks to everyone who's here and wanting to help!
Benjamin

I'll plan on being around for the hack day, but it doesn't sound like
there's anyone chiming in for more on Saturday. Since I live in the area,
I'll probably be around, but I can at least work on Annotator on Friday
with whomever is around.

If anyone would like to join us but is _not_ attending I Annotate, I
suspect that's probably fine! Please let us know. I'd be happy to talk to
the Hypothesis team and give them notice. I'm sure they would not mind
people showing up to work on annotation stuff. In the past, they have
posted the hack day on meetup.com as a separate event anyway.
