Since we often need to collaborate with external users on new features or bug reports, most of our ongoing discussions currently take place on GitHub: https://github.com/apache/answer/issues. That said, I agree it would be great to have more development-focused discussions on this mailing list as well, especially around design decisions and feature planning.
