If that would work it would be great. But I donīt think so.
Our firewall is very restrictive. AFAIK only the ports for HTTP, FTP and
Mail are valid.
I have never used SSH, so I canīt say something about that.
SSH needs a socks server somewhere, unless there is some SSH-over-port-80 thing I am ignorant of.
WinCVS has a CVS-over-http mode, where I configure it with a proxy. This works for anoncvs access to cvs.apache.org. Have you tried this?
