Hi Steve, I am in the CET (Central European) Timezone. It has a difference of 1 hour with GMT AFAIK. I have taken this hour of difference already into account. Anyway the point is : trying to set the last modified time of a file to 123456 millis after the epoch does not work on my computer. The Microsoft SDK information says that Windows files have a date/time of last modification calculated since January 1st, 1601. So it must be some JDK implementation problem. Not very interesting anyway. Antoine
