'build' is a batch file used to bootstrap ant; you should be calling 'ant' 2. sounds like an error in you classpath is confusing Java.exe What is the value of your CLASSPATH environment variable? and PATH? Also, this looks like you are using the java web service dev pack version of ant. We dont officially support that version, only the official Apache team releases.
