http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23070 Delete task can't delete a directory based on a name pattern [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |CLOSED ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-09-11 13:58 ------- Jan, Thanks for resolving this. I learned something, which is that I need to put a trailing forward slash after the directory name pattern in the includes attribute. I wasn't doing this, and if you don't, the include pattern doesn't work. I had looked over the <delete> and <fileset> docs, and now re-read the dirtasks.html doc on Directory-based tasks. There's nothing I could find that indicates that a trailing slash (which I know implies /**) in a fileset include pattern means that the matched top level directory(ies) will be deleted, whereas without the trailing slash they will not. I've been using Ant for years and never ran into this for some reason. Thanks again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
