After studing CVS change log it appears that the bug was introduced in 1.5.2, downgrading to 1.5.1 resolves the problem. I just tried the latest 1.6beta1 and I don't experience the problem. I see that there were several solutions proposed and I would like to confirm that 1.6beta1 works for me.
