We have hundreads of jsp's in the project and jspc takes a long time to execute if all generated files are deleted in advance, generating idle times for us, the developers. JDK version is also an important issue as we don't use the 1.4.x series and there's no immediate plan to upgrade. I have integrated on my side the fixes explained here and it works as expected with jdk 1.3.1. I will test with ant 1.6 but only after the weekend and post the result here.
