http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25775 Ant requires <?xml at beginning of build.xml? Summary: Ant requires <?xml at beginning of build.xml? Product: Ant Version: 1.6.0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Build Process AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Summary says it. This seems to be a problem specifically with 1.6, it works fine with 1.5. I am reporting this for a friend. build.xml:1: The processing instruction target matching "[xX][mM][lL]" is not allowed. This was stumbled upon from a copy paste from a web site to a build.xml file, it introduced a space as the first character in the file. At one point, you could say it makes you make nice XML files, as another point, it is against the standard right? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
