This thread has provided me with a fair bit of amusement for the past week.  
Calm down, guys.  
It's FUNNY! 
 
Personally, I think the different spellings and other language managing are one 
of the charming 
aspects of working on an international project.  Haven't we all seen spellings 
of words that end 
in -ise instead of -ize?  Does anyone remember the "Demoroniser"? 
 
This would, IMHO not even be an issue except for the context.  Misspellings 
would not even 
be noticed anywhere, but this is different and humorous precisely because of 
the meaning of 
this word. 
 
Anybody who would reconsider their decision to use Ant on this basis needs to 
be 
"demoronised", IMHO.  
 
Lighten up.
