http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29463 Ant gives exception if a space is in the classpath Summary: Ant gives exception if a space is in the classpath Product: Ant Version: 1.6.1 Platform: PC OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Other AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Ant parses the classpath before running. ANT cannot handle a space in the classpath. It then throws an exception. Personally I would like to put Ant in "Program Files" in order not to clog the c: with a lot of folders. This took like 2h in order to look in your docs, the java docs, checking all other strange installations I recently made in order to run JDTS (a not too good tool from SUN). It would be helpful if this information was added to the documentation if you are not going to fix this. Have a nice day and happy coding!
