http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35793 Summary: Ant copy-filterset Tasks Convert in a Wrong Way Certain Cyrillic Letters Product: Ant Version: 1.6.5 Platform: Sun URL: http://backo.everywebhost.com/downloads/org.apache.ant.t est.filtersetbug.zip OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Ant copy-filterset bug! ======================= Test project is available at: http://backo.everywebhost.com/downloads/org.apache.ant.test.filtersetbug .zip Description: When copying UTF-8 text documents with the copy task and filterset, the files seem to be spoiled by ant. Some certain cyrillic letters are being transfered to other bytes. (Use the supplied test1.txt to see the result.) This problem seems not to exist when using the copy task without filterset. Version: Tested in Eclipse 3.0 and 3.1 release versions. Ant version 1.6.5. Reproducing the error in Eclipse 3.0 or 3.1: 1. Supply the following files before loading the project: download/apache-ant-1.6.5-bin.zip download/apache-ant-1.6.5-src.zip lib/<all ant jars> 2. After opening Eclipse from the Window/Preferences/Ant/Runtime page change Ant Home... to the project folder in order to use the supplied jars instead of the built-in eclipse ant. 3. When launching one of the two tester classes, start in folder ${project}/test.
