Earlier [1] I said that we should develop 1.7 in CVS until release state, migrate to svn and build the release from svn.
But now I think that we could migrate earlier - probably on a weekend. - cvs is down from 2006-01-01 - there is not so much development on HEAD at the moment - 1.7 needs a long time ...
