Summary: cvspass file won't be read properly if it uses dos
                    instead of unix line terminator
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6.5
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This is using a Windows/Cygwin environment.

When doing any cvs operation that requires use of cvspass, if that cvspass file
uses dos style line terminators, you will get an "authorization failed" message
from the CVS server. I presume this is because the extra carriage return \r is
interpreted to be part of the password in cvspass.

If the file uses unix-style line terminators, this is not a problem. However,
anyone who has installed their Cygwin to use dos style line terminators will
automatically get a dos style .cvspass which will always cause ant cvs tasks to
fail.
