http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=28283 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-09-13 14:24 ------- Dennis: I'm not sure whether your problem is related to the original report. In any event, we don't know of any <copy> bugs that would cause an OOME. They might be there, but examples that evoke the problem are helpful before we would know what to fix. One thing that is certainly applicable to your situation is that <ant> and <antcall> EAT memory (also they are slower than other solutions). Things you can try: Always, try the latest version of Ant (1.6.5, 1.7 beta). Use <import>s and <macrodef>s instead of <antcall>s where possible. You can also look into the various target-calling tasks from ant-contrib; in particular it has an alternative to <antcall> that does NOT create a new project. Finally, you can use ANT_OPTS to increase the memory allotted to Ant's JVM. For more information on any of these topics, or to further discuss the issue (unless you have located what you are sure is a bug), please join Ant's user mailing list. -Matt -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
