http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40979 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-11-15 09:22 ------- Private stuff is there to reduce maintenance costs. Once something is protected we have to assume that a subclass is using it, and leave it alone forever. For the specifics of the <get> class, there is a set of http tasks in the antlib SVN sandbox which is designed for subclassing, with <httppost>, <httpget> and <httphead> already there for your use. Its not formally released, but if you want to help bring it up to a released state (testing is the main barrier right now), it would be welcome. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
