           Summary: SCP hangs using jsch-0.1.31.jar
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.7.0
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I am trying to implement Ant 1.7.0, upgrading from 1.6.5. In doing so, I have
also updated jsch to jsch-0.1.31 from jsch-0.1.24. I use the scp task to
transfer files from a Windows 2000 server to a UNIX server. The files are in
a directory structure and they are transferred to an identical structure.

I believe what is happening is in this sequence:
1) files in directory "A" are transferred to UNIX directory "A".
2) files in directory "A\B" are transferred to UNIX directory "A/B".
3) files in directory "A\C" are suppose to be transferred to UNIX
directory "A/C", but this never happens. The transfer hangs.

I believe that the scp transfer is having a problem transferring to the next
subdirectory. It is irrelevant what subdirectory that is.

Also what I have found:
1) Ant 1.6.5 with jsch-0.1.24 works.
2) Ant 1.7.0 with jsch-0.1.24 works.
3) Ant 1.7.0 with jsch-0.1.31 does not work.
4) Ant 1.7.0 with jsch-0.1.31 with scp parameter sftp set to "yes" works.

There is no reason for scenario #3 not to work in our environment. This is
whay I am submitting this as a bug.
