GMail itself does not honour threading info. For each bug, I get two message threads - one with "NEW" and another with continuation. The thread is also broken in GMail, if the title is changed. There is no such problem in Thunderbird.
Saying that Bugzilla works reasonably well and its open-sourceness may help with customizations. I did it few times (for example, user drop down lists), but keeping the customizations up with new releases took a lot of time, so this is mostly a theoretical benefit. -0 - Alexey. This make is much more difficult to follow a bug using emails only. That, and the fact that is a bit too verbose for me (which GMail might be able to reduce by hiding common parts if thread worked...). My vote is really more of a -0 or -0.5, as I don't want to prevent more active commiters to make the switch, or if the community prefers JIRA, but as it stands, I think JIRA's not being email threading-friendly is a pretty big drawback, thus my no above. --DD PS: Maybe JIRA can be confiured to enable threading, but the CruiseControl forum I kinda follow uses it, and I don't think it better looking at it from the perspective of monitoring the emails only. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
