Hello!

I haven't participated in open source development before, but I wanted to
give it a try. So I took a look at the apache bug tracker and got me a nice
little bug.

Now I think I was able to fix it.
But what now? I changed the status of the bug to "FIXED RESOLVED" and
attached my patch before.
Is that all I have to do? Will the fix now be merged into the trunk
eventually or do I have to do more than that?
Should I write to the mailing list (like this) and propose my patch?

I'm talking about bug #41400 by the way:
