For what it's worth I just ran our our rather complex set of reusable build
scripts--with dozens of custom tasks, some that do fairly intricate things
with the Ant API--without any apparent issue.  I was also able to confirm
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=51044 is fixed.
