Hi all, spammers have started to use a new technique by reverting pages to the revision that contains spam after we have fixed the page. "Revert" doesn't cause email notifications (I've asked infra to look into this).
Also they are now starting to use URL shorteners so blacklist will become less useful - even if we start blacklisting all URL shorteners. The approach recommended by infra is to set up a contributor group and provide write access to the wiki only to people who join the list and ask for it <http://wiki.apache.org/general/OurWikiFarm#per_wiki_access_control_-_tighten_your_wiki_just_a_little.2C_benefit_just_a_lot> What do you think?
