Check of differences in git between tags rel/2.5.2 and 2.5.3
doap file is missing a </release><release> tag between versions 2.5.3
and 2.5.2. this should not be blocking in my view as doap seems not to
be actually used anywhere anymore. (Maybe remove the file entirely at
the next release?)

Downloaded the apache-ivy-2.5.3-bin.zip from the dist location.
Checked the NOTICE. Ran an old Ivy project using JDK 8. No issues
encountered.
