OK so the thread has been slow cooking over on dev@tika for a while now and
for those who missed it, it can be seen here. [0]

support for merging Any23 in to Apache Tika.
IMHO this would be much more favorable than taking it straight to the attic
(even given the work it will take to do the branching and merging). I think
that it's worth a go.

What I think would be great though, would be for us to release what we have
so far as 0.9.0. This would allow us to release the server artifacts as
well with the improvements made to the code within the 0.8.0 release.

@Peter, I wonder if there is any progress on the issue AMY23-137: RDFa
parser implementation proposal? If we can, then getting this in to the
codebase would be great. If not then we can release and bump this onwards.

In summary:

1) Does anyone have objections to making a release? I am happy to go
release manager.
2) Does anyone have objections to us progressing with the initiative to
take what we can from Any23 in to Apache Tika?

Thanks

Lewis
