ha, ha, ha. I spoke too soon. There is another error in that index.apt file.
Once I corrected that then the maven command *did* produce the html files in
the "target" directory.
However, after that, the build fails with ~100 errors in various java files.
I did ascertain that the changes I made to the supported-formats page look OK.
(Except that using https instead of http produces a different icon following
the href.) (This is one funky way to preview web page updates.)
So I will figure out how to do the rest of the commit and generate a pull
request.
