The checksums are right and the 2.0 format ones also can't be
automatically checked with std linux tools.

How were the checksums produced because they are a format I've not seen
before. I could not use std tools (linux, sha512sum, md5sum) to check
them. I had to visually check them.
md5sum apache-any23-2.1-src.zip ==>
-----------
c1b3eee4d3e08ca296517210fbe7c1d2 apache-any23-2.1-src.zip
-----------
then "md5sum -c" would work.
These are:
-----------
apache-any23-2.1-src.zip: C1 B3 EE E4 D3 E0 8C A2 96 51 72 10 FB E7 C1 D2
-----------
and last time:
http://apache.org/dist/any23/2.0/any23/apache-any23-2.0-src.zip.md5
-----------

Lewis - Thanks.
To the other question - what about the SHA1 and MD5 checksums?
