+1 this should be tracked in a JIRA. There are also some improvements that can be done to the instructions on the docker hub (separate activity).
I would also suggest to list the Apex binary build on the downloads page for users that have an existing cluster: https://github.com/atrato/apex-cli-package/releases And perhaps mention in the setup tutorial that these other download options are listed on the website.
