Hi Srikanth,

  Below dependency also doesn't work. Because the abstract operator is
under kafka-common module.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.apex</groupId>
<artifactId>malhar-kafka</artifactId>
<version>3.8.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
<exclusions>
<exclusion>
<groupId>*</groupId>
<artifactId>*</artifactId>
</exclusion>
</exclusions>
</dependency>

  You need to include the dependency as follows:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.apex</groupId>
<artifactId>malhar-kafka</artifactId>
<version>3.8.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
<exclusions>
<exclusion>
<groupId>org.apache.apex</groupId>
<artifactId>malhar-library</artifactId>
</exclusion>
</exclusions>
</dependency>
  (or)
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.apex</groupId>
<artifactId>malhar-kafka</artifactId>
<version>3.8.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>

Regards,
