Vipin, Apache Apex is an open community run in the Apache way. We welcome new folks, and cherish/pursue diversity. We will be posting guidelines on how to become a committer soon. Do paritipate and we look forward to your active contribution to Apex. The fact that you have subscribed to dev@apex means that you are already part of Apache Apex community. The guidelines will list what is considered as "active" participation to achieve committership.
Though I should not talk about committership guidelines till community formally votes, our desire is to have contributors achieve committership with low threshold on activity. A list of areas where you can contribute will be listed in the guidelines.
