Bernard,
Thanks for the hint, but in my 1.1 version the "Use system font for user interface" is not catched on and in my1.9 version this option (Windows98) is disabeled (is in gray) so i supose to gave the same results, but no the dialogs in 1.9 are screen "filed" and match larger than in 1.1.
So i tryed out the "scaling" factor and thats also influencing the dialog sizes, but for having the same size as in 1.1 the orher toolbar items all far to small.
And for standardisation reasons it will still be usefull to be able to set this sizes with the API.
Maybe you can help me out ?
Thanks anyhow
Fernand

For my application its anoying because i uses the dialogs to cut out of grapchics certain parts to place them on a document (sort of cropping). Now I have to recalquladed the new relation between there dialog representation and there real pixel sizes.
Of course it can be done but i like to now if this resizing of the dialogs is permanent or if there is a way to influence this dialog sizes.
Look at the option "Use system font for user interface". This option is found in : Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > Accessibility for OOo 1.1
in 1.1 is not
Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > View for OOo 1.9
If the status of this option is different, dialogs change size.
