If the text cursor is inside of a text table, for example. The text object for the text table cells will not be the same as the documents text object. If I remember correctly, however, the text object inside of a text section is the same, but I could be mistaken on that.
Things can get really out of hand if you try to use a text table anchor, which is a text range, to create or focus a text table. I recently updated the erratta document for my book, where I added an example that demonstrates how to actually place a cursor in front of a text table object, since you can not use the text table anchor as a goto point or insertion point.... But now I am digressing and not discussing the problem at hand; sorry....
