the release notes of 1.9.77 suggest, that e-mail-merging would work, see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=30916 with a macro example.
I installed JavaMail and the mailmerge wizard tells me, that he could not detect JavaMail.
As Oliver Specht said, this message is only for StarOffice users, not for OpenOffice.org, because the service com.sun.star.mail.MailServiceProvider is not implemented in OpenOffice and e-mail-merging will not be available for 2.0.
So shouldn't this hint in the wizard be removed in Beta 2.0 (BTW, the German text doesn't fit into the label)?
