Hi,
>From our previous discussions, it was said that the Bootstrap
methodology is to check for an installation in HKEY_CURRENT_USER
first, and the check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

Unfortunately, I believe the previous statements about installing OOo
1.x using /NET does not install it into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. I've
tested against 1.1.4 using /NET and both 'Workstation Installation'
and 'Local Installation', and both use HKEY_CURRENT_USER. I've done a
bit of searching on the Installation sub-project, and it seems like
that's the expected behavior.

So, a 1.x installation will always trump a 2.x (and presumably
higher) installation that has been installed system-wide.
