He can ask at Sun Microsystems for an automatic conversion tool (VB->SB code). It has been in development for StarOffice as far as I know. See http://it.sun.com/eventi/jc04/presentazioni/parallela31/31-01-Sun-Rice.pdf If this tool is already usable, this would be the fastest possible way to convert VB macros into SB macros.
