Can you give more details about your system?
I saw "How stable is the Java API?" thread and I tried to call
garbage collector manually (System.gc()). OOo is more stable.

I have same problem with OOo 1.1.4 and OOo 1.9.104.
OOo crashes after some text document openings and closings.
With OOo 1.1.3 (or minor) crash are less frequent.
