My concern was not about the way how you get your window handle, it is about the usage of "ExitProcess". ExitProcess(hWnd) will terminate the process that owns hWnd (AFAIK) and because QS and OOo share the same process you will allways shutdown OOo together with the QS even if you didn't intend to do so. As a result of this OOo will not terminate in the usual, "regular" way and so at leat will all open UNO or COM/OLE connections will get brolen and all changes to the OOo configuration that are not already written to disk will get lost. Maybe there are some more side effects like these I just don't remember. But maybe I'm wrong and ExitProcess only terminates the WndProc of the QS? Perhaps there is a way to just send a WM_DESTROY to the QS window through a Windows API that can be called from inside OOoBasic?
