I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. OOo will always terminate if the last visible task window is closed except when the "Quickstarter" is running because the QS exactly does what I have recommended to you: it registers a terminate listener. If you have your own terminate listener and veto against termination OOo will stay in memory. If you just close your document and then go away it will stay there. The only way to remove OOo is to call terminate or to open a visible task and close it so that OOo itself will try to terminate. >> We hope to make this more "automagical" in the near future.
