That's the drawback of the current solution and not possible. You can
set a title for the document toolbar, but nothing more. The users have
to change the settings via "Tools - Options" themselves.
Hi Peter,
You meant "tools-customize"
Yes, you're right.
We discussed
the current solution before the OpenOffice.org 2.0 release and
believed that the old solution (also storing state information
(pos, size, visible, style etc.) inside the document) was bad (we had
several user complaints). Every user wants to set this information
individually.
Yes, of course that makes sense for all bars of the module, but should
imo not apply according to document specific _custom_ toolbars with a
unique name.
Currently we don't distinguish between custom toolbar and custom
document toolbars (both have to be named "custom_". May be this is a way
to support your scenario. Could please write me (owner must be set to
"cd") an issue as enhancement to distinguish between custom and custom
document toolbars. This would allow me to support state information for
custom document toolbars.
Anyway, at present there are two workarounds:
* Setting the WindowState with a macro, it will work for this document
the module is restarted. Layout properties (docking) can be set
dynamically at runtime.
* Deploying a modified WindowState.xcs with the name and style of the
custom toolbar during installation or with a package. Templates using
this toolbar are working correctly the first time they are called by the
user.
Ok, both solutions are possible. The second solution is also used by
add-on toolbars.
Thanks again and have a nice Xmas,
You're welcome. Have a nice Xmas, too.

Carsten
