indeed you can. You have to set an environment variable

org_openoffice_nb_integration_log_level = all

and start NetBeans with this set. The OOo plugin will then create a log file called OOoNBIntegration1<Number>.log in your temp directory. (For a different directory, set org_openoffice_nb_integration_log_path to the directory of your choice.)

The output of the skeletonmaker call is posted into the logfile. It would be really helpful if you could post the content of the file here.
