Yes, you're absolutely right. I was able to reproduce your problem and I
saw the calling of MakeVisible() on the stack (a side effect of
getString()). Unfortunately I don't have a work-around for you which
suppresses this behavior via API :-(
Please submit an issue via issuezilla with your macro. We have to fix
this problem in the Writer code.
