Hi,

doing some slow progress in this issue.
removing the default line chart is probably done by specifying a string
range like ("A1") before i was using a range "A1:A1745" by using a range
"A1" the black lines are now gone and only remains the blue chart which i
suppose is the candlestick chart . see (chart.jpg)
No, that is not the right way, see my previous mail.
however i'm facing a problem with x-axis values : like i said previously
values in x-axis are Date formats (mm/dd/yyyy). i tried using the
format->x-Axis wizard to change the scaling of chart's x-axis . however the
text fields in x-axis scale wizard are disabled ! i can't change the scaling
for my dates ranges (see chart2.jpg).
i'm not facing this problem in Y-axis values ..i can correctly use the
format->y-axis-scale wizard to scale the y-values..
what is the problem of the dates being used for x-axis values ? can you
please shade some light on this issue ?
The x axis is a category axis which just displays strings in the given
order. You can change the displayed categories within the DataRanges Dialog.
