Hi all, I spent about 1 month posting questions about this subject in multipe forums but i couldn't get the necessary information.there are still some big holes in chart2 API features .the other problem is that the documentation on chart2 is sparse almost irrelevant and useless . I'm trying to get in contact with other SUN engineers who have expertise in java UNO API and chart2 API . i would like try writing to other experts in this field hoping i'll get some help from them. So please if anybody knows such persons i would appreciate you put me in contact with them.
anyway here are my further thoughts about this issue: again let me re-state the scope of our project : implement a new chart type service -in java- which is able to superimpose different chart types in same coordinate system . questions i'm trying to find answers to : 0) is it easier to do this chart superimposing work with an OO Basic macro ? 1) is our company wrong while choosing to extend the chart2 API using a java UNO service ? 2) is it a bad idea to extend chart2 ? or is the problem with using the java language ? 3) how can one understand well the structure and features of chart2 module ? is the only way to read the chart2 c++ code ? 4) is there a more better solution to solve the problem without using the chart2 api ? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/discussing-com%3Asun%3Astar%3Achart2-API-tp19268400p19359685.html Sent from the openoffice - api dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
