A model exists exactly once - like the document in which it lives exists
once, even if you do a "Window / New Window", which opens a new window
where the very same document is displayed. Still, it's *the same* (and
only one) document, as there is only *one* control model in this case.
However, there are two *views* for the document, which are independent
in quite some aspects, for instance scroll position and the like.
Similar, there are two controls, though the behavior and appearance of
both is dictated by the one and only control model (and if the control
model's background color property is changed, then both controls will
honor this, for instance). However, also the controls are independent to
a certain degree, for instance the cursor position.
