FWIW, I'm not aware of having set the -kb flag on those files, and I 
certainly didn't commit anything in any *.ds[pw].

If I did set -kb, it was by mistake and I apologize.
That said, the other half of my argument still stands: allowing keyword 
expansion in *.ds[pw]'s is a bad idea.
