All, I needed to apply the attached patch to get apr-util to compile on SCO OpenServer. I needed a mechanism for adding extra support libraries while doing the tests for Berkeley DB, so I added a new section in the hints list, and then used it in apu-conf.m4. Please consider this for inclusion.
