When I tested this, the errors I saw on stderr were like: /usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: foo.dl /usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory where "No such file or directory" is exactly what is returned by apr_dso_error() via strerror(errno). joe
