Is this a "we don't want your patch", or simply a parallel development? I can see the point of providing *some* override mechanism, but I also think that it shouldn't be necessary to explicitly specify what can be automatically deduced. If aclocal-autodetection isn't being vetoed, I will redo my patch against the latest version. If this is a veto, let me know, so I can stop trying. Max.
