APR_FIND_APR returns only the first apr found - what 'list of found apr's' do you suggest the author validate against to determine where apr-1(.1) lives?
They shouldn't. The granularity is at the major level not at the minor or patch level. If the user wants to override detection, they can shoot themselves in the foot by passing the path explicitly. -- justin
