[DBDriver unset] comes from not having *any* DBDriver directive in scope. On reading this, I suddenly have a nasty suspicion that mod_dbd is defaulting to creating the reslist, which will indeed cause this report (which can be ignored if you're not using DBD). If that suspicion is confirmed, it's definitely a bug. To the OP: if you're not using DBD, set DBDMin, DBDMax and DBDKeep to 0 and it won't try to create a connection pool.
