Bounce this to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - as you can see from your messages this is a fault in the ldap auth modules (attempting to use aprutil interfaces, as you surmised) that should be looked at from a broader picture. But you might snip a short config section and mention which ldap client version (windows version) on the web server, and which ldap server/os/ver.
