I can confirm that patch works for me on Solaris,
though I can't claim to follow it in detail.
I tried to ascertain whether your use of errno from
port_dissociate is portable over all platforms that
may use it, and it looks to me as if this code (port.c)
may be Solaris-only. Would that be correct?
